A note about “profile size” and module width: The profile name gives you the nominal wall thickness, not the panel's horizontal module. A 110mm, 155mm or 200mm Dincel wall uses profiles that are each 333mm wide. The 275mm profile is square, 275mm thick and 275mm wide. Where your wall length doesn't land on a full module, profiles get cut on site.

Does Dincel walling need steel reinforcement?
Not always, and you can't assume either way. Dincel states its profile design can eliminate reinforcement in various applications and that crack-control steel may not be required. Structural reinforcement still goes in wherever the engineer's AS 3600 design specifies it. Loads, wall height, supports, exposure and fire requirements all feed that decision.
Can Dincel profiles form curved walls?
Yes, on the 200mm and 275mm profiles. The Angle Profile allows corners in 15° increments and forms curved, circular or waved walls without joints along the curve. It isn't available on the 110mm or 155mm, so a curved wall requirement can push your profile selection up a size on its own. Layout, radius, reinforcement, bracing and concrete placement still need project-specific design.
Is a Dincel wall waterproof?
Dincel’s permanent polymer skin is waterproof, and the manufacturer reports testing under 6m of water-head pressure. Complete waterproof performance still depends on correct panel connections, concrete placement and project-specific detailing at joints, penetrations, terminations and wall-floor junctions.
